VBVoice™ 10.2 offers developers a fresh look and feel designed to complement Microsoft® Windows® 10. The result is an even more intuitive experience to facilitate rapid interactive voice response (IVR) development. VBVoice 10.2 offers features to optimize IVR applications for deployment in cloud environments and offers developers greater control and visibility into their application’s progression. The new look of VBVoice is designed to complement Microsoft Windows 10, uses the Visual Studio® library of icons, as well as an updated color palette to link types of controls, assisting developers to analyze their call flow at a glance. Our new high availability licensing offers developers the ability to provide continuous operational VBVoice service.
To collect quickly all the diagnostic logs needed to be sent to Pronexus support, a new item has been added to the support section of the VBVoice Control Panel. Just select the 'Collect Logs' menu item and choose an output path and all the necessary logs will be saved in a compressed (zipped) file, ready to be sent to Pronexus Support.
This feature allows developers to override default logging settings so that VIL logs can be sent to subscribers through TCP instead of taking up local disk space.
Previously, the properties of VBVoice components were saved in .resx files in a binary format, preventing a comparison of different versions in source control. The current version replaces the binary data with clear, readable text, so changes can be easily traced and modifications can be done without opening the project in Visual Studio.
A new media resource control protocol (MRCP) has been added to offer developers a version that is able to handle more load. Version 2 also offers redundancy and load balancing.
This feature is applicable to speech internet protocol (SIP) calls and offers more intelligent dial control behaviors.
Using Pronexus Call Control, the RawCallInfo property of Linegroup is able to
retrieve all custom headers and most standard headers.
A new setting in the VBVoice Control Panel allows automatic creation of memory dumps to be sent to support for analyzing memory violations.
The newest version of VBVoice comes with the latest release of VisualConnect, a new product built into VBVoice 10 that allows IVR developers to use the same call flows for voice and data processing.
VBVoice 10.1 features are still contained in the release of VBVoice 10.2.
